Actor Glyn Houston died at the age of 93

Glyn Houston became known in the 1950s when he played the role of Joan Collins’s beloved character, in Turn, the Key Softly. He has worked with actors such as Clark Gable, Alan Ladd, and Lana Turner.

Dean Powell, who helped him write his memoirs, announced the death of the actor he said was “a real gentleman.”

Houston has starred in over 80 films, especially television, but has also played theater. Among the best-known series in which he appeared is “Keep It in the Family”.

He was a close friend of the Welsh actors Richard Burton and Stanley Baker.

In 2008, he received a BAFTA special trophy.

Houston, who grew up in Tonypandy, had two daughters with Shirley Lawrence, whom she married in 1956.
