Disney’s live-action remake, Aladdin, has conquered the box office with the $ 878 million dollars gained worldwide but also scored a record for Will Smith, the Lamp Spirit’s interpreter.
Guy Ritchie’s film has become the most successful actor’s career, and he has been content to thank audiences around the world (in as many languages as possible) in a clip posted on his Twitter account.
Smith also said he is grateful for having achieved such an accomplishment after so many years of “barricades” – he has over 30 years of career, including blockbusters such as Independence Day, Men in Black, Hancock.
Princess Jasmine’s actress, actress Naomi Scott, smirkily replied to Smith’s post and said Aladdin was also her most successful film career.
We will hear Will Smith in Spies in Disguise this year (next to Tom Holland) and we will see him next year in a long-awaited production – the third part of the Bad Boys franchise called Bad Boys for Life.
