Amazon earned the right to develop a series based on the lead character of Lee Child’s “Jack Reacher” series, sold in over 100 million copies so far. Produced by Nick Santora, creator of Scorpio, who will write the script and be the showrunner and executive producer, the series is a co-production of Amazon, Skydance Television and Paramount Television.
The child will be an executive producer alongside Don Granger and Christopher McQuarrie.
David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Marcy Ross will be executive producers for Skydance, and Carolyn Harris will be the supervisor of the project from the studios.
The Jack Reacher novels center at the center of a former US military police officer involved in controversial cases.
The two feature films based on the series of novels, starring Tom Cruise, have generated a cumulative $ 400 million in cash.
