Filming at Bond 25 was suspended after Daniel Craig suffered a glenseed injury, writes British publication The Mirror.

The 51-year-old star shot an action scene in Jamaica when he slipped and fell in the running.

“He was suffering very much and was complaining of big ankle pain. You realize he was quite nervous about what happened. He has shed his coat of earth offense, “he told a source close to production.

To determine how severe the wound is and what treatment is needed to get back to the shooting platform as soon as possible, Craig will consult a specialist in the United States.

From Jamaica, the star and production team were to leave for London, where some of the Pinewood Studios were scheduled. Film makers have not yet provided information on how much production will be offset.

In the 13 years he played Bond, Daniel Craig has had several serious injuries. In 2006, at Casino Royale’s filming, he was out of two teeth, filming for Quantum of Solace suffered a muscular rupture at his shoulder, fractured his ribs and was cut off by a finger, and in 2015 filming at Specter was interrupted for two weeks because she needed surgery on her knees.

Here’s what the star said about his injuries: “I needed a reconstruction surgery on my right shoulder, I operated at both knees and the navel of my finger still hurts.”

Bond 25, launched for April 8, 2020, does not yet have an official title.
