The movie “Blackbird”, a remake of the Danish language film “Silent Heart” (2014) made by Bille August, in which they will play Kate Winslet, Susan Sarandon, and Mia Wasikowska, will open the 67 edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival on September 20.
The length of the world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival will run in the competition, which represents its European premiere.

Directed by Roger Michell (“Notting Hill”, “My Cousin Rachel”), “Blackbird” is about Lily’s Terminal disease (Sarandon), which brings together three generations of his family to their country home for one last time.
