Damien Chazelle, who has earned his La La Land status (14 Oscar nominations, including 6 statuettes won) and First Man biography (an Oscar and three other nominations), has chosen his new project the big screen. The production will be called Babylon and will reunite with La La Land star, actress Emma Stone.
However, Brad Pitt, who is interested in the script, could join the cast. Details of it have not yet been revealed, but Variety has found out that it is a time-old film, which will take place in the 1920s, during which the film industry made the transition from silent movies to those spoken.
The story combines real characters of time and fictional characters, as in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Chazelle is now working on a Netflix miniseries titled The Eddy.
