Daniel Craig returned to filming Bond 25 after his ankle injury in May, on Jamaica’s filming. The 51-year-old star has been operated and needed a recovery period, but the filmmakers have shown, with the first official picture posted on Twitter’s movie account, that Bond’s performer is in shape and ready for action.
The image taken over by slashfilm.com is complemented by a classic Aston Martin, mentioned in its accompanying commentary on Twitter: “Daniel Craig, director Cary Fukunaga and Bond 25 have taken advantage of the sunny weather and filmed in various parts of London, including Whitehall, where Daniel cast a scene with a classic Aston Martin V8, first seen in Bond The Living Daylights. ”
Bond 25, which will arrive in cinemas on April 2, 2020, has struck several production hurdles (most recently an accident that destroyed one of the shooting platforms).
The film does not have an official title yet. According to flickeringmyth.com, the filmmakers were to announce in April that the movie would be called A Reason to Die, but they changed their minds because they did not seem “Bond-style.”
Recently, a short clip has been released that captures moments from shooting and some action sequences.
