A new post remains vacant in the Arrow team, actress Emily Bett Rickards announcing via Instragram that she is leaving the show at the end of this season. For the moment, The CW did not release any announcement regarding Rickards’ announcement or whether it is likely to return to the 10 episodes of the final season as a guest star.
Emily’s decision follows the Wille Holland and Paul Blackthorne model, the two withdrawing from the project at the end of season 6, with the expiration of contracts.
Arrow has been renewed for a new season in January, earlier this month, announcing that season 8 will be the last, also with a reduced order of only 10 episodes. According to past years, fans will say goodbye to Star City’s gang of judges shortly after the crossover event in the new season – Crisis on Infinite Earths, announced to bring with him some wow moments.
Presented to the audience as one of Queen Consolidated IT team members, Emily Bett Rickards was promoted from guest star to regular series, even during season 1. If Stephen Amell promised to return Monday with an emotional message to a visitor, Emily’s departure, Colton Haynes did not comment lately.
Emily Bett Rickards said on Instagram:
“The time has come to talk of many memes. Of bows and arrows and superheroes and Olicity and Queens
And why TGA is so damn hot
And yes, canaries need more scenes… But wait just one minute
before we go and do all that
For this makes me out of breath
To have this not small chat
Felicity and I
are a very tight two
But after one through seven
we will be saying goodbye to you
I thank you all for the time we’ve shared
The elevators we have climbed
The monsters we have faced and scared
And The burgers we have dined
I will keep her in my heart for always
And I hope that you can too
Because she would not be alive if it weren’t for all of you ?
Love,
Felicity and Me”
