The latest film starring Chris Hemsworth, “Extraction”, is about to become the most successful premiere of the Netflix platform.
The film centers on the mission of mercenary Tyler Rake (played by Chris Hemsworth), sent to Bangladesh to rescue the abducted son of a drug baron in prison. Despite the many harsh accents, the story turns into an exciting quest, and the way fans received the film is about to turn it into the most successful feature film released by Netflix.
Recently, the actor posted on Instagram a video in which he conveyed to the fans that he hopes to be healthy and that he thanks enormously to all those who watched “Extraction” and who made him the film no. 1 on the planet at the moment.
For its part, Netflix issued a statement announcing that “Extraction” is about to become the most-watched premiere about the release date. Given that people are isolated in the house due to the pandemic, the films can be watched by the whole family, and ‘Extraction’, which is estimated to reach 90 million families in the first four weeks after the release (which took place on April 24) will thus set a record for the powerful streaming platform.
The film is directed by Sam Hargrave (who coordinated the stunt crews for “The Avengers: The End of the Game”, “The Avengers: Infinity War” or “Captain America: The Civil War”), and the screenplay is written by Joe Russo, who adapted for the screen the graphic novel “Ciudad”, by Ande Parks. Along with Chris Hemsworth, in the film, you will see Sam Hargrave, as Gaetan, and the beautiful Golshifteh Farahani (“Persian Love”, “Exodus: Gods and Kings”, “Paterson”).
