The favorite superhero of adolescents – and even the smallest of the spectators – Spider-Man has re-launched successfully on the MCU’s wings. With Tom Holland in a central role, the superhero has secured his future on the big screen, and the Marvel Studio can boast of yet another success. Proof and the record touched by Spider-Man: Far From Home, which, according to screenrant.com, has reached the $ 1 billion limit and has thus become the highest-grossing film (unadjusted for inflation).

Far From Home becomes the second film in Sony’s history to have passed a billion dollars after James Bond’s 2012 production, Skyfall (co-produced with MGM). Far From Home surpassed Sony’s Jumanji movie: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) – a surprising mega-hit for the company.

According to a ranking of the Box Office Mojo, here’s what the Spider-Man movie shows:

Spider-Man: Far From Home – 1.005 billion dollars (so far)
Spider-Man 3 – 891 million dollars
Spider-Man: Homecoming – 880 million dollars
Spider-Man – $ 822 million
Spider-Man 2 – $ 784 million
The Amazing Spider-Man – $ 758 million
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – 709 million dollars
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – $ 375 million
