An action comedy that brings together some of the most popular Hollywood actors has been acquired by Netflix and will begin production next year. In Red Pictures’s former Universal Pictures project, Ryan Reynolds was recently added, starring opposite Dwayne Johnson and Wonder Woman’s performer, Gal Gadot.
Johnson will star in the movie as an Interpol agent, assigned to capture the most sought-after art thief in the world.
The scores of Gadot and Reynolds have not yet been revealed. “The Rock,” which has secured a $ 20 million redemption for Red Notice, will again work with Rawson Marshall Thurber, Skyscraper’s director and screenwriter for Central Intelligence.
Gadot was added to the cast in April. Universal has participated in a real “war of auctions” to secure its Red Night production rights, but earlier this week it took the title of the 2020 release schedule and replaced it with a large-scale production whose title did not was still elected.
Johnson is also working on a Netflix project – John Henry and the Statsmen – which brings together the actor with Jumanji’s director: Welcome to the Jungle, Jake Kasdan.
