AMC announced today that the revolutionary drama series “Into the Badlands” will end with the last eight episodes.
At the beginning of the last chapter of “Into the Badlands,” Bajie in prison warns Sunny that he does not have to trust the Pilgrim. But Sunny is struggling to help Pilgrim to open the Meridian Chamber because his son’s life is at stake. At the same time, M.K., who has not yet recovered after revealing that Sunny killed his mother, is seeking revenge. Kidnapped by The Master, the Widow has to confront her past. Meanwhile, Moon hastened to save Lydia from imminent death, after she risked his life for him on the battlefield. In the last episodes, old secret lights will emerge, new alliances will form, and the saga reaches its climax in a major battle that ends all the battles.
Produced by AMC Studios, “Into the Badlands” was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, executive producers, showrunners and scriptwriters. Stevey Sher and Michael Shamberg, Oscar nominees, along with David Dobkin, Stephen Fung, Michael Taylor, Karen Richards, Paco Cabezas and lead actor Daniel Wu.
