At 53, the former Matrix star, Keanu Reeves, has one of the most productive periods in his career. After a series of films culminating in the success of John Wick, the star became a character in the Cyberpunk 2077, a video game that excited the fans of the genre from the very first information and images.
The actor stepped on Electronic Entertainment Expo on Sunday night (abbreviated E3, is the largest gaming event in the world) to present the game, and the press conference revealed and whose character borrowed his voice and movements (through motion capture). It’s about Johnny Silverhand, presented as a legendary figure in the story of the game. The central character, Johnny is a rocker boy, Samurai vocalist and a possible ally of the protagonist in the super-technological and robotic world of a distant future.
After the demo sequences presented in E3, the game puts you in the role of a mercenary (V), male or female, looking for a lost cyborg with his partner. The first person like Call of Duty or Battlefield, Cyberpunk has many RPG elements – the decisions taken affect the action.
It is the second video game to which Reeves played, after The Matrix: Path of Neo (2005), one of the projects launched after the success of the Matrix trilogy.
Cyberpunk 2077, the creation of Poles from CD Projekt Red (the other famous headline director, The Witcher), will be released on April 16, 2020.
