Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, explained how the Black Widow prequel is about to change Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Kevin Feige reported on the io9 about this subject, saying that the source of inspiration might be other success stories such as Better Call Saul so he can see how the movie can reveal new things about the MCU.
“There is a method in this madness. There is always a way and the gesture of doing things in an unexpected way is something we liked. There are ways to make prequels that contain less information or fail to answer questions, but also ways to do prequel where you learn all sorts of things you did not know beforehand. ”
“I’m thinking of Better Call Saul as the perfect example of the prequel that stands out for the show, Breaking Bad, for the simple fact that it helps you learn a lot of things you did not know before. So time will tell if I did well with this Black Widow prequel.”
If you want to know how Black Widow will be an important movie for the current MCU, you can see Better Call Saul and see how the show has changed how the audience looks at the Breaking Bad series.
Meanwhile, as the shooting continues, Variety announces that Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast) has joined the cast in an unspecified role alongside Scarlett Johansson and newcomers David Harbor (Hellboy), Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family), Rachel Weisz (The Favorite) and OT Fagbenle (The Handmaid s Tale) in the film directed by Cate Shortland (Lore).
