Marvel Studios released a first image from the new Disney series WandaVision

During a conference at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil, featuring Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision, with the two Avengers having a look reminiscent of American sitcoms from the 1950s.

The image is reminiscent of concept images revealed at the D23 Expo and reinforces the idea that WandaVision will start as a classic sitcom before “evolving into an epic Marvel brand story.”

Although the details of the action have not yet been released, what we do know is that WandaVision will draw inspiration from author Tom King’s comic books, in which the heroes try to build a family of androids for them, in the context of a US suburb 1950s. And considering what happens to Vision in Avengers: Infinity War, it seems certain that the reality of Wanda’s life has somehow been altered.

WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney + in 2021, with a cast featuring Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Randall Park (agent Jimmy Woo), Teyonah Parris (Empire) as Monica Rambeau as an adult and Kathryn Hahn ( Bad Moms) as a rogue neighbor.
