Meghan Markle has signed a contract with Disney in exchange for a donation to a charity that supports wildlife.
British newspaper The Times has announced that the actress will make a voiceover for a Disney project so far unidentified, in exchange for a donation to the Elephants Without Borders wildlife protection company.
The project was announced before the news that Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are ready to take a “step back” from the status of prominent members of the British royal family. The royal family added, on the official Twitter account and on the website – “The discussion with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in an early stage. We understand their intention to have their own approach, but there are important aspects that take time to develop. ”
Harry-Meghan’s ties to Disney include the two participating in the European premiere of The Lion King in July last year. The premiere was organized to support the African Parks organization, which Prince Harry supports. Disney offered the two of them a watercolor with Winnie-the-Pooh to celebrate the birth of their son Archie.
