The Guardians of the Galaxy star teased his fans with an image posted to his Twitter account, suggesting a recent meeting with Warner Bros., the studio responsible for the production and distribution of DC films.

Dave Bautista used the hashtag #DreamChaser (the acronym refers to DC adaptations) for the attached comment: “He won’t come to you, so you go after him”, and fans and profile publications have assumed that the actor has been given a prominent role in – one of the upcoming DC movies, such as Bane’s in the new The Batman – especially as he expressed his desire earlier this year to play the formidable villain of the Black Knight.

Also this year, the actor expressed his disappointment that he missed a DC score (it was said to be an appearance in Suicide Squad), due to overlaps in his work schedule.

As at this moment, there is no other information that confirms Bautista’s involvement in any Warner Bros./DC project, it remains to watch until the news of this area appears in the new films of the actor – in 2020 he will play in the action-comedy My Spy (with the release on March 13), followed by Dune’s new (potentially) adaptation (the release is scheduled for December 18), in which he will play Rabban The Beast, the sadistic grandson of the baron who has control over the planet Arrakis. In 2021 he will return to Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (Drax).
