The summer comes with the Teen Choice Awards, rewarding the young audience’s preferences for film, TV, sports, music, comedy, and celebrities with the greatest digital impact in the past year.
Like the last year’s edition, and in 2019 the series that featured the most nominations of Riverdale, Shadowhunters and The Flash (five each) was followed by a spectacular comeback in Oliver Queen’s favorite preferences (Arrow, four nominations). In the films section, it is redundant to note that Marvel titles dominate almost every category, with the end of the Avengers franchise receiving no less than nine nominations, followed almost half by Aladdin, Captain Marvel, Aquaman and Crazy Rich Asians.
Voting will officially open on June 25th, with the Teen Choice Award being held on August 11th. For now, there is no information about his presenters.
