One good, another bad, after canceling Santa Clarita Diet, Netflix representatives come up with good news, more specifically with the renewal of On My Block comedy. The announcement comes one month after the full season 2 launch, March 29. The number of episodes per season remains altered, entering production this year in Los Angeles.
From the creators of Awkward and All Eyes on Me, Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft, On My Block is a comedy about maturing that follows four intelligent friends and school street, seeking their way through the triumphs, tribulations and adventures of high school life in a hostile neighborhood.
Confirmed for Season 3 are Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco and Jessica Marie Garcia, and other names to join them in the new adventures will be announced later. Behind the cameras, the production team will continue to be led by Lauren Iungerich as a showrunner.
