Priyanka Chopra Jonas, in final negotiations for a role in Matrix 4


Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in final negotiations to join the cast of the new movie Matrix, writes Variety. If he is to take the red pill, along with the other confirmed actors so far – namely Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Neil Patrick Harris – we will find out the next few days.

Movie number 4 in the series does not have a title yet, but it is known that Lana Wachowski will direct, under the aegis of The Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow. The information about the character to be played by Chopra has not yet been released.

Filming for Matrix 4 will begin these days in Northern California. Actors now have several weeks of training for combat scenes, writes Variety.

Chopra Jonas has so far a filmography that exceeds 60 productions. Her US television debut was made with the Quantico series, spread over three seasons. Chopra Jonas holds the record of being the first performer with Indian origins to play the lead role in an American series aired on primetime.

Filming for Matrix 4 will be the same as for Citadel, an Amazon brand series, with Richard Madden starring. Chopra Jonas runs his own production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, based in Mumbai and Los Angeles.
