In an interview with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino spoke about his future projects. These are Deadline.com, a Western TV series whose idea was even offered by the film and Star Trek.

About Star Trek Tarantino said that if he directed him, he would be a kind of “Pulp Fiction in Space”. But the Western series is a personal project, broke from the movie with Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

In the film, DiCaprio performs a famous star TV, Rick Dalton, made famous by a Western serial titled Bounty Law. Creating this story in the story, Tarantino was attracted to the short 50s and ’50s of the westerns from which he was inspired (Dalton’s character was modeled after Burt Reynolds, who starred in the 1960s Western Gunsmoke). He confessed he has already written five episodes of Bounty Law and hopes to turn him into a spin-off series.

“I really started enjoying these half-hour scenes of the western 50s. And the idea that you can write something content in only 24 minutes, such a rich story crammed in episodes of half an hour, with a real beginning, a table of contents and a final. It also seemed somewhat fun, because you can not long, you can not explore. At some point, you have to stop. So I liked the idea. I have already written five episodes of the western, half an hour, for a possible Bounty Law in black and white, “the filmmaker said.

If he succeeds in moving forward with this project, Tarantino hopes to convince DiCaprio to play the lead role. It plans three more episodes – it will direct all eight planned episodes – and will offer TV series such as Showtime and HBO, or a streaming service such as Netflix.
