Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) is a shy and experienced college student living with his sexologist Jean (Gillian Anderson). Surrounded by textbooks, movies and sexless conversations, Otis is a retired expert in the field. When his home identity is revealed at school, Otis realizes he can use specialist knowledge to become popular.
She then team up with Maeve (Emma Mackey), a rebellious and intelligent girl and his best friend Eric (Ncuti Gatwa). Together they will create a secret sex therapy clinic to deal with the bizarre and wonderful issues of their high school colleagues. While analyzing adolescent sexuality, Otis realizes he would need therapy as well.
Sex Education is created and written by Laurie Nunn and produced by Jamie Campbell and Ben Taylor, alongside Sian Robins-Grace. The series is an Eleven production for Netflix and was directed by Ben Taylor (“Catastrophe”) and Kate Herron.
There will be also a second season for this show, Netflix just announced.
