Sony Pictures has announced that the next two movies in the “Spider-Man” series will be released a few months late.

The sequel “Spider-Man Far From Home”, which has not yet received an official title, will be released on November 5, 2021, and not on July 16, 2021, as originally scheduled.

On the other hand, the continuation of the animation “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” has been postponed to October 7, 2022. Its premiere was scheduled for April 8, 2022.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home,” starring Tom Holland, was one of the most successful films of 2019, grossing $ 1.13 billion globally.

The reprogrammed film will now be the third in the Sony franchise released in 2017, with “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.

“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” won last year’s Oscar for animated feature film and grossed $ 375 million globally.
