The documentary “I Am Patrick Swayze”, in which friends and colleagues share memories with the actor known in films like “Dirty Dancing”, “Ghost” and “Point Break”, will be released ten years after his death.
Actors Sam Elliott, Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, C. Thomas Howell, Kelly Lynch, and director Roland Joffe are among those appearing in the documentary alongside Lisa Niemi, the actor’s widow, and his brother, Don, according to Variety.
The Paramount production trailer was released on August 1st.
The documentary also refers to the lesser-known part of Swayze, who sometimes fell prey to depression.
“I Am Patrick Swayze” will debut on the Paramount Network on August 18.
Patrick Swayze died on September 14, 2009, of pancreatic cancer.
