At the outbreak of the pandemic in Turkey, Beren Saat (36 years old) films for the second season of the Netflix series, “The Gift”. According to thecinemaholic.com, season 2 was to be launched on the popular online platform in December this year. The production of “The Gift” is based on Şengül Boybaş’s novel, “Dünyanın Uyanışı” / “Awakening of the World”, and tells the story of a beautiful and mysterious painter named Atiye (Beren). She has a perfect life in Istanbul with her family and lover and is about to open her first personal exhibition. The plot changes when an archaeologist discovers a symbol that attests that Atiye has mystical links with the world’s oldest sanctuary, Göbeklitepe. The protagonist will try to unravel the mysteries behind this Neolithic sanctuary, erected on a mountain ridge in southeastern Anatolia and located about 15 km, northeast, from the city of Șanlıurfa.
