Dune Remake

In a post on his Twitter page, Brian Herbert, the son of SF author Frank Herbert, announced the ending of Dune’s filming, the adaptation of the acclaimed Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, Prisoners).

Adaptation of the volume anthology will be done in two parts. The first, which began production in March in Jordan, will be in cinemas on November 20th. In the role of Paul Atreides, the central character played in David Lynch’s 1984 film by Kyle MacLachlan, we will see Timothy Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name).

Here’s the rest of the cast: Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) will be Paul’s mother Lady Jessica, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be Duke Leto, Avengers: Infinity War – Glossu Rabban, Steven SarkarsgĂ„rd – Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, Charlotte Rampling (Red Sparrow) – Gaius Helen Mohiam, Zendaya (Far From Home) will be Chani, Javier Bardem (Loving Pablo) – Stilgar, Jason Momoa (Aquaman) – Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin (Avengers: Endgame) – Gurney Halleck and Chang Chen (The Assassin) will be Dr. Yueh.
