Producer of the Spider-Man movie series, Amy Pascal, confirmed in an interview with comicbook.com the return of Tom Hardy in the sequel of the Venom movie.
“I can tell you that Hardy will return and magnify this character as no one else can do,” she said.
The first Venom movie has earned over $ 855 million worldwide – a tremendous success for Sony Pictures’ first Spider-Man spinoff. Asked why he thinks he has evolved so well in the box office, Pascal mentioned, among other things, Hardy’s “phenomenal” talent. But the start of production could not provide a safe date.
As Venom seems to turn into a franchise, it is expected that the adventures on the big screen of the anti-aircraft will intersect with those of Spider-Man (perhaps in Venom 2, as Pascal suggested).
