Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson will also play in the future.
Former professional fighter John Cena will join the cast. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are not generic.
The Universal Franchise, whose protagonist is Vin Diesel, was launched in 2001.
His 9th movie “Fast and Furious” is directed by Justin Lin, the filmmaker who has worked for four films in this series and returns to the franchise after missing the seventh and eighth movie.
The movie will be produced by Neal Moritz through Original Film, Vin Diesel through One Race Films, and Justin Lin through Perfect Storm Entertainment.
