Jon Worth, Spider-Man’s director: Far From Home, said in an interview with Fandango.com that Michael Keaton’s character in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Vulture will not appear in these new adventures of Spider Man.
“Keaton will not be in the movie nor Laura [Harrier, Vulture’s daughter, Liz, n. Red.],” Watts said.
After the events of the first film The Avengers, Keaton’s character was among those hired to clean the city of New York. He went on to rob those who had advanced alien equipment and sell it on the black market, which put him in conflict with Spider-Man (Tom Holland). Last time he was seen, Vulture was in jail and chose to protect Spider-Man’s identity. It seems, however, that his story has been slammed into Far From Home.
Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), Michelle (Zendaya), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Peter Parker’s colleagues Ned (Jacob Batalon) and Flash Thompson Revolvers) – will appear in this first film of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinema Universe, which will be released on July 5th.
