If the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were delighted by the news that Mahershala Ali will be playing in a studio movie on the new Blade, fans of Wesley Snipes (former Blade performer) might be happy, as the star is, it seems, in the viewfinder of Marvel.
According to Marvel sources, there is the idea of introducing Snipes in the movie with Mahershala Ali, and the reserved role is that of Dracula, the main villain in the movie.
It seems an appropriate way to honor the former Blade, but for now, this detail of the distribution remains at the rumor stage. However, the information obtained shows that Snipes’ appearance would be more than a cameo, because the new Blade will be inspired by The Tomb of Dracula, one of Marvel’s horror comics, for the first time, and Blade, as a supporting character (in 1970).
The coming months will certainly bring more information about Blade’s script, actors and director. The film is not part of the fourth phase of the productions included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The launch will take place after 2021.
