While other filmmakers have been more critical than eloquent at Marvel, director Quentin Tarantino has made a passion for these productions. Evidence and recent assertion from the Empire magazine interview – whose purpose was, in fact, to promote his new Once Upon a Time film in Hollywood. He praised the idea of the “common universe” transposed into the Marvel series and revealed which of the movies he liked most of what he has seen so far.
“Thor: Ragnarok liked me crazy,” Tarantino said. “It’s my favorite in the series after The Avengers – definitely he liked me the most,” he continued.
The filmmaker admitted that he is not yet “up to date” with the “Infinity saga” – as are the 22 films grouped in three “phases” (of which the last, Avengers: Endgame, was released in April) way to recover.
“I have not kept up with them in these, I think, the last four years. I think the last screenshots we’ve seen last year at the cinema are Wonder Woman and Black Panther. But a few weeks ago I got a marvelous Marvel to prepare me for the Avengers: Endgame. I recently finished Captain America: Civil War and the next is Doctor Strange, “he revealed.
