Once Robert Pattinson was confirmed as Bruce Wayne’s new performer, news and rumors about the new products began to appear. Profile publications have reported recently that Jonah Hill is wanted as the film’s antagonist (Riddler or The Penguin), and Jeffrey Wright in Commissioner Gordon. The actress is now looking to portray Selina Kyle and there is a rumor that the film’s director, Matt Reeves, wants an actress of color.
A source close to the production told geeksworldwide.com that Tessa Thompson (Thor, Creed) and Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, Us) are among the filmmakers. Other names targeted are Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beauty & The Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Dark Phoenix) and Logan Browning (Dear White People).
Even though they are probably the most wanted in the role due to their popularity, Thomson and Nyong’o would have difficulty aligning projects, considering their contracts with Marvel (Thompson will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder, and Nyong’o will get ready for Black Panther 2).
In July, the list of potential Catwoman was Chloe Grace Moretz, Jodie Comer, and Vanessa Kirby.
